A TRADITION WITH A FUTURE
Starting a sparkling wine brand is considered a risky venture these days.
In addition to capital, it requires patience, experience, and a willingness to engage in a craft that cannot be rushed. Sparkling wine is one of the most demanding products in viticulture. Hardly any other beverage combines origin, precision, time, and experience in a comparable way.
The idea arose three years ago, based on the question:
What happens when you take the great tradition of sparkling wine seriously—and at the same time consistently rethink it for our times?
It quickly became clear to us that we wanted to go down this path without taking any shortcuts.
The founder: Anikó Strich
Anikó studied agricultural engineering and obtained her wine academy diploma from the Austrian Wine Academy.
From early on, she was particularly interested in sparkling wine—a product that, like no other, requires precision, patience, and craftsmanship. From the outset, she was more fascinated by the combination of wine, time, and secondary fermentation than by quick results or short-term trends.
During her professional career, she has worked for renowned winemakers as well as international beverage companies. These experiences have shaped her eye for quality as well as her understanding of structure, processes, and style.
Soléance was born out of this longstanding interest in sparkling wine—and out of a desire to take the classic sparkling wine tradition seriously while also thinking ahead.
Today
Soléance is young—yet deeply rooted in tradition. We don't see ourselves as an alternative, but rather as a continuation. As a sparkling wine producer that listens, observes, and makes conscious decisions. With respect for the craft, patience for the process, and the ambition to create something that will stand the test of time.
